Documentary film section – Primary school

ON THE FARM (10′), 2022.

📝 Life in the countryside is different from life in the city, especially for children whose parents work in agriculture. In the film we see students from three different households who, in addition to performing their school duties, also help out on their farms. Our protagonists talk about what motivates them to help their families and show what exactly it is they do on the farms. We also meet their parents, who show us the other side of the coin of rural life.
👁‍🗨 From this film, which exudes sincerity and cheerfulness, we find out what life is like for children living in the countryside, whose every day is filled with work, satisfaction when they see results of that work, and some precious life experiences.

HOPE SAVES (7′), 2022.

📝 The story of a fostered girl who writes a letter to her father, whom she is not in contact with at the moment because he is in prison. We also meet her foster mother who developed a warm and almost motherly relationship with her, trying to make up for the missed opportunities from the girl’s childhood. Despite this, the girl still dreams of reuniting with her biological family…
👁‍🗨 Every child has the right to live with their parents, but in reality that story is sometimes more complicated than we expect. It is important, however, that it has a happy ending, as this warm and touching story of a fostered girl shows us.
