THE ADVENTURES OF A SNAIL (6′), 2022.
🎬 Stjepan Kefelja Primary School Film Group, Kutina
📝 The hybrid film The Adventures of a Snail portrays a snail going towards his favourite food, cabbage. He meets various animals on his way. His path is only two metres long. With this film, we wanted to draw attention to the fact that children nowadays cannot hold their attention for long. The internet and other content change very quickly. We wanted to show that even long shots, like a shot of a slow snail, can be interesting. Also, we wanted to draw attention to the beauty of nature that surrounds us. On his way, the snail meets a rooster, a frog and a mosquito, while the birds sitting on a wire are watching him.
👁‍🗨 Even though he’s slow and a bit slimy, the main actor did a fantastic job without leaving his house even once. We feared for his fate, following him on a dangerous, but interesting journey. Due to its original concept, skillful use of film language, wit and a successfully created atmosphere of tension and uncertainty, the first prize goes to the film The Adventures of a Snail.

ALEXANDER OF MACEDON (5′), 2022.
📝 This is an animated music video for the song “”Alexander of Macedon”” by Jembrela. It shows the life of a famous historical figure through an abstract representation of this warrior’s path.
👁‍🗨 Famous historical conquerors and military leaders would surely welcome this concept, which leads us in one direction with its title, and then immediately spins us in a completely different direction with its animation. With its harmonious timing, unexpected artistic solutions and solidly produced music, this film taked us on a minimalist but meaningful journey.

MY BODY AS IT IS (5′), 2022.
🎬 Liberated film: film adventures for children and the youth, Šibenik
📝 Many of my friends and acquaintances, even myself, have demons that haunt us. I decided that the topic of my film should be our physical insecurities because they should be talked about more. In today’s world, we are surrounded by models and influencers with lush hair, flawless skin, and a body to be desired. None of this is real and no one is perfect.
👁‍🗨 We especially liked this film because everyone can relate to its topic. Everyone can find at least one thing about themselves that they don’t like, and that’s described really well in this film.
