📝 Set on the wild coast of Cornwall in the United Kingdom, “Mordros” is the story of two childhood friends and open-sea swimmers who, on the verge of parting ways, decide to take on one last challenge.
👁‍🗨 From the first shot, this film draws us into an atmospheric world of the unspoken, masterfully using suggestive film language. Through the silent relationship between the two characters, we learn a lot about their social context, families and expectations. Throughout the film, both the audience and the characters become aware of its outcome, but this complete certainty makes the obvious ending even more painful. On the wave of these impressions, the jury decided to award this film with the grand prix.
