BEAUTY IS IN THE LITTLE THINGS (6′), 2024.
🎬 KREŽMA, Franjo Krežma Primary School
📝 The film “”Beauty is in the Little Things”” seeks to show that everyone has something that makes them happy and that they find beautiful. It doesn’t have to be something special or rare, but the greatest beauty can be found in everyday things which we sometimes don’t even notice. I spontaneously engaged my closest friends (and teachers) in the making of this film, so the film features footage from Osijek and the surrounding area, representing my city, as well as two shots from my trip to the island of Hvar. In this way, I showed that it is the people around me, non-professionals, who actually best demonstrate beauty’s simplicity .
👁‍🗨 The author uses generational language in an interesting way, both visually and narratively. We congratulate her on handling this topic in a positive way, skillfully avoiding the trap of pathos.

📝 After learning about songwriting, verses and rhymes at school, we wrote a class song with the help of our teacher. After learning the lyrics, we recorded the sound on a computer. After singing, we filmed the video for the song in several locations.
